Codiac RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a 21 year old woman in Moncton on Canada Day. A spokesperson for the R-C-M-P says they responded to a call about an unconscious woman at the Elmwood Motel on Saturday. Sergeant Andre Pepin says a 21-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Word is out on social media that man has been arrested in the death but we have nothing formal from the RCMP yet.

The City of Moncton says that a "serious maintenance issue" has forced the temporary closure of Centennial Park Beach. As of right now they're not sure when it will reopen but crews are working on the problem.

The Town of Riverview says that Pinder Road will be closed to traffic again today from 8:30am-3:30pm between Lawson and Findlay for trail upgrades.
