Mounties say a teenage girl is dead following a car crash near Shediac.  The teen from Shediac was driving a small car that collided with a pickup in Boudreau-Ouest on Monday night at around 7:15 p.m. They say the girl died at the scene, while the driver of the truck was not injured. Both drivers were the only people in the vehicles.

Premier Brian Gallant says he's been dealing with concussion symptoms for more than two months! Gallant says he fell during a practice with the Saint John Seadogs in May and is only just feeling symptom free the last few days. He said he would get headaches during public appearances and scaled back his workload to recover. The premier is set to meet with officials in Washington today to discuss softwood lumber and free trade.

The City says there will be lane reductions for microsurfacing on McLaughlin Drive, between Massey Avenue and Edmond Street, today-friday.

The Governor of Nevada has declared a state of emergency...because they're running out of recreational marijuana. The state legalized the sale of marijuana to people 21 and over a few weeks ago and there's been such on the dope that stores are running out.

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano (KUH'-noh) hit a leadoff home run in the 10th inning to lift the American League over the National League 2-1 in the All-Star Game for the fifth straight year. Craig Kimbrel wiggled out of a jam in the ninth and right fielder Justin Upton made a lunging catch in the 10th to help the A-L win.

Canadian singer Jocelyn Alice has taken a lot of grief from baseball fans on social media after she seemed to giggle during her rendition of ``O Canada'' before the All-Star Game began in Miami. The Calgary native best known for the singles ``Jackpot'' and ``Bound to You'' apparently giggled after she sang the words ``God keep our land,'' catching the attention of Blue Jays slugger Justin Smoak.
