Gas prices went UP 2.5 cents here in New Brunswick last night...the new maximum for regular self serve is $1.12.4. Diesel is up 1.4 cents and furnace oil went up 1.3 cents.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Moncton yesterday to make an early childhood education announcement with Premier Brian Gallant. The province has signed an agreement with Ottawa that will see $71 million spent on early learning and child-care services for preschool-aged children in the province over the next three years.

Trudeau also went out for lunch while he was here...he was spotted at the Tide & Boar on Main Street...the wait staff that served him told the Times & Transcript that he started with a chowder and then had a burger and poutine...and apparently tipped well.

Codiac Regional RCMP are seeking the public's help after a Moncton church was vandalized with Satanic & anti-police graffiti on Aug. 20. St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Botsford Street was targeted by vandals with black spray paint. The graffiti was cleaned up by Downtown Moncton Centre-Ville Inc along with local businesses and volunteers. Anyone with information is asked to contact Codiac RCMP.
