Codiac RCMP say that they're investigating a theft at the Causeway Bridge project between Moncton & Riverview. RCMP told the Times & Transcript that the copper wire theft was reported back on August 23rd. A department of transportation & infrastructure spokesperson confirms the robbery but can't put a value on the crime until they repair the damage. RCMP told the paper earlier in September that they're investigating a string of copper wire thefts around Greater Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick and that the damage done by thieves so far is over $100,000.

A second Moncton man has been arrested in connection with the home invasion that happened last Friday in a neighborhood off of Elmwood Drive. 32 year old Christopher James Melanson was taken into custody on Wednesday and was charged yesterday with 18 crimes related to the incident...including two counts of robbery with a firearm, sexual assault with use of a firearm, & two counts of unlawful confinement. He'll be back in the Moncton Law Courts at 9:30 this morning.

Codiac RCMP are looking for your help finding the man who robbed the UNI bank in Moncton back on September 21st. Shortly before 6pm that day a man entered the bank at 305 St. George Street and demanded money and claimed to have a weapon. He is a white guy, approximately 5'9", with a husky build. He was wearing a Real Tree brand hoodie and an Under Armour baseball hat.

The City of Dieppe says that Gauvin Road, between Marché Street and Acadie Avenue, will be completely closed to traffic today & tomorrow (Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30), between 11:30 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. (It's for a festival...here's more info: http://bit.ly/2xGhhGM)
