Codiac RCMP are looking for information about three bank robberies in Moncton...On September 6th, a man entered the UNI bank at 305 St. George Street and demanded money, indicating he had a weapon. On September 11th, the Advance Savings Credit Union on Weldon Street was held up by a man who suggested he had a weapon. Then on September 21st, the UNI bank on St. George Street was held up AGAIN by a man who said he had a weapon. In all three cases, the suspect got away with cash. The suspect in all three incidents is described as Caucasian, approximately 5'9" tall with a husky build. Police believe the three incidents may be related.

New Brunswick's auditor general has delivered more bad news for the Liberal Government concerning the Atcon fiasco. Kim MacPherson's report released yesterday, says taxpayers were left on the hook for close to 70-million dollars while top executives of the failing group of companies bought luxury items -- including vacation property in Aruba, jewelry and luxury car payments. The report revealed most of the nearly 70-million dollars the province gave the company went to business-related activities, but more than 700-thousand dollars went to personal expenses. From the City of Dieppe: Melanson Road is completely closed today-friday between Dieppe Blvd and Rouse Street...as well Dieppe Blvd south of Melanson will be closed...today through Friday...they're paving the new roundabout. More info HERE.

Lane reductions on Wheeler between Connaught and Université Avenue, in each direction, beginning today until the end of November. The City of Moncton is installing a storm sewer outfall from Bromley Avenue across the highway to Halls Creek. Details HERE.

Jason Aldean has canceled his shows in Southern California after what happened in Vegas the other night. He was on stage performing when the worst mass shooting ever in the United States happened right in front of him. He says "I feel like out of respect for the victims, their families & our fans, it is the right thing to do" . Meanwhile he wrote an open letter to his fans yesterday in a social media post...he said "The world is becoming the kind of place I'm afraid to raise my children in..."

The Moncton Wildcats beat Cape Breton 7-2 last night at the Coliseum...Moncton heads out on a three game Quebec road trip now...they're in Sherbrooke Friday night...at Drummondville Saturday afternoon...and in Rimouski Sunday afternoon.

Major League Baseball playoffs: The Yankees won the AL wildcard game last night 8-4 over Minnesota...they play Cleveland in the ALDS beginning tomorrow. The national league wild card game goes tonight...Colorado plays at Arizona. 

Meanwhile...Jose Bautista will never wear a Toronto Blue Jays uniform as a player again. General manager Ross Atkins says that the team will decline their mutual option on the six-time all-star. Atkins said Bautista was made aware of the team's plans ``a couple of weeks ago.''
